Shapes
shapes are made from lines which are two overlapping areas of design. with this idea in mind students are asked this week to find 2 elements of shapes and post them as comments to the comment space.
Texture
This week in class you will be given examples of texture to help inspire you to create your own textures in design.
Robyn McCarthy Describes texture as:
- Adds interest and excitement.
-Indicates to the viewer what to expect.
- Texture doesn’t have to be rough; it could be soft, or glossy...
- Textures can be visual or tactile .
Can you post 1 example of texture each to the comment space. this could be carpet, paint...
For EXAMPLE wicker baskets have a wicker texture
